Nation Foundation for Philanthropic Giving

Welcome to NFPG

The National Foundation for Philanthropic Giving is designed to...

  • Support donor advised fund programs at colleges and universities
  • Help universities and colleges increase contributions
  • Improve overall donor services
  • Increase communications with constituents
  • Added transparency, accountability and enhanced online reporting

The National Foundation for Philanthropic Giving (NFPG) is a qualified 501(c)(3) for the purpose of being a collective organization for universities and colleges to facilitate donor advised fund program services. NFPG is strictly for university and college foundations and its mission will be accomplished at the direction of university and college foundation professionals.

Due to the additional administrative duties required for such a program, many universities and colleges have not started donor advised fund programs. The National Foundation for Philanthropic Giving (NFPG) was formed in order for universities and colleges to pool resources and be positioned to vie for their donor’s donor advised fund business.
